Spearo by Mary-anne Scott was the number one bestselling book in Nielsen's Independent Booksellers list last week. It was also number three in the combined list for children's and teens bestsellers - well done Mary-anne!
The popularity of Spearo meant that its first print-run sold out within a month of the book launching. A second print-run has already arrived and OneTree House Director of Publishing Chris Dale says this show what an advantage it is to print in New Zealand.
"We were able to quickly react to the market telling us they love this book and have extra copies available without distribution to supply."
